Relevant for Duration 1 hour Admission recommendations None Technical requirements Internet Online training This online training course can be taken at your own pace, with the possibility to enter and exit the course as often as you require. You have 90 days to complete your training course counting from the day your license key is activated on the platform. Basic operations Basic DSC operations The training course includes small tests after each lesson, eliminating the need for a final, conclusive test. Once you have passed all tests, a digital certificate will be generated and issued immediately on the NavSkills™ Online platform. Go to “my certificates” in the main menu to find your digital certificate.

This course will provide you with the required knowledge of the functionality and effective use of the Furuno FM-8900S VHF Radiotelephone.
This course is a requirement for Masters, Chief Mates, and Officers in charge of a navigational watch on board ships. Could also be relevant for anyone interested in how to operate bridge instruments. This could include Ship Managers, Technical Superintendents, Technical Staff, Marine Engineers, shore-based personnel, yachtsmen; etc.
